   Adding to the chorus of praise for Knox Salon... I'm so happy I found this little gem!! For starters, Tanisha and Susie are awesome. They make you feel so welcome, not only because they're both super warm & friendly, but just by the little comfort services they offer (hanging your jacket, offering you water, shoulder/neck massage before hair styling). I felt immediately at ease and was glad I kept the appointment despite all the rain. The interior is really clean and inviting also. Susie did my hair and did an amazing job. I felt like she really listened to what I wanted and executed perfectly, checking in when needed to make sure I was happy. She gave me a rejuvenating deep conditioner treatment and then a cut, my hair felt so much healthier and my curls felt revitalized. I purchased a few Aveda products to try at home and they've been great. This is for sure my new go to spot. Thank you Tanisha & Susie, can't wait for my next appointment!

   After covid it was time to find a new salon. Having used Aveda products years ago the retail shop at Century City assisted me in finding an Aveda approved salon in my area.  I initially reached out via email and received a prompt reply and called to schedule an initial appointment for a root touch-up.

Parking is available on the street - typically 2hr.  It's a mixed residential and business area so a short walk for free parking was great.

As soon as I entered and was greeted, the small boutique salon had that calming Aveda feel.  After a short consult with Susie the process was a "10" from start to finish.  From service, color technique and quality of products the entire combination was a win.

Will definitely be back for more color - but, hoping to try for other services in the future.

   I always feels great when I leave. They use plant based natural products and they offer so many services. It's not cheap but it's a must if you want to feel pampered. I always make sure to tip Suzy cause she shows so much care while washing my hair, feels heavenly.

   I’ve definitely finally found my place on the west side after moving away from my  original salon on the east side. The number of expensive salons that have the audacity to not know how to manage or style curly hair is like…most salons in LA. How you gonna charge $400 for a dye job then leave me looking like a wet poodle? 😂 it happens more often than not.

I’m a 2c/3a curly girl who has had thinning hair lately and a loss of bounce to my curl. But Tanisha and Susie restored my faith today that I can regain my hair strength and curliness with patience and care. They were informative, patient, kind and attentive. Tanisha gave me specific advice for *my* hair type and clearly knew her stuff. Susie assisted and gave me a glorious neck/shoulder massage and informed me of the products she used every step of the way. I can count on one hand how many salons have styled my hair correctly in my lifetime. Finally adding this one to the list!

They exclusively use Aveda products which I also recommend. Yes, it’s more expensive than some other salons, but worth every penny. I walked away feeling GOOD about the chunk of change I spent, not bad. A lot of salons have made me feel like I wasted my time and money (looking at you Blonde/Blond), but not with Knox.    Love this salon and loved my hair cut with Brenna. I was so happy the salon matched me with her after Gina (who was amazing) was no longer in town. Brenna was awesome knows so much about hair and gave me the best haircut ever.

   Great experience! Tanisha and Suzy were so nice and made me feel very welcome in their space. I had an idea of what I wanted, and Tanisha took that, ran with it, and hit it absolutely out of the park.    I had my first cut and highlight at Knox this past weekend and I was blown away by Susie, Tanisha and the salon in every way. They are SO NICE, so sweet, and so talented. I've been getting my hair highlighted for 25 years and Susie did the best highlighting (foil) job I've ever had. It's unbelievable how good she is. She is magical in every way; Susie is a true artist. I feel so lucky to have found Knox, Susie and Tanisha and I told them they're stuck with me now - there's no getting away! ; )  I can't say enough amazing things about them, it's such a special place and it was a wonderful experience from A to Z.
